Foodpanda and Effect of the Pandemic

Foodpanda has since become the new norm due to the pandemic and the lockdown and they flourished in 2020. The lockdown was meant to reduce the damage caused by the virus and many could not go out. With such, people are turning to online delivery services such as Foodpanda to get their meals and other items through a proxy. Foodpanda riders are thus hailed as front liners, but many of these riders are people who underwent retrenchment or close-downs and had nowhere else to go. People from all kinds of work are becoming riders as it is most sought-after.
